What time is check in and check out?
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
Check out time is 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
These times are firm!  No exceptions.

What if I do not scrapbook?
That's okay!  While The Hideaway was designed with scrappers in mind, we certainly welcome all types of crafters!  Quilters, stampers, card makers, beaders, or any other crafters are welcome to enjoy a weekend getaway as well.

What do I need to bring?
You should definitely bring your scrap supplies and projects!  Also, any DVD movies or music CDs you will want to watch or listen to, or your Ipod to hook up to the docking station.

Also, if your weekend is unhosted, you will want to bring whatever food you want to make for meals if you are not going out.  The only paper products that are provided are paper towels and napkins.  If you want anything else, please bring it.  (paper plates, paper cuts, plastic utensils, etc.)

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans.

Are smoking or pets permitted at The Hideaway?
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.  However, you may smoke outside with courtesy to non-smoking guests.  No pets of any kind are permitted at The Hamburg Hideaway.

What are the parking arrangements?
All parking is off street.  There is a long driveway that can be parked in as well.  Please avoid parking on the grass.

What are the sleeping accomodations?
There are 3 bedrooms.  One bedroom with a queen and a twin.  One bedroom with 2 twins, and one bedroom with 5 twins. 

What if we don't have a group of 8-10?
I will be running some Singles Weekends both hosted and unhosted, so make sure you sign up for my newsletter to get the most up to date information.  These weekends are few and far between as our calendar is fairly booked with complete groups!

If there is a weekend you are interested in, but do not have 8 people, please email me at [email protected].  I can try to find another small group to attend to help reduce your cost.  I cannot guarantee this though.

Are children permitted at The Hideaway?
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted as guests or visitors at The Hideaway.  Many women use this time to relax and get away from their motherly duties at home.  Use this as a weekend for YOU!

*Please contact us immediately if you have any problems.
*In the event something gets broken, please either contact us or leave a note so that it can be taken care of for the next guests. However, you will be responsible for any excessive damage to the property, the house or its contents. An itemized list of damages and an invoice for the repairs will be sent to the renter payable immediately.

*The Hamburg Hideaway is not responsible for lost or stolen articles!  Should you forget anything, you are responsible for any shipping costs, or to arrange a time to come back and pick it up!
